Hmmm. Doesn't look as if it'll roll in until late afternoon... pics in the wrong order. i was obviously quite wrong, and was completely drenched in about 30 seconds once it started. had a good couple miles of very sloppy trail back tot he car. at least it was warm.

I recommend not attempting that feature.
Hah, I could not ride it even in its prime. 20 years ago, before the forest began to reclaim that feature, I could never overcome my nervousness and fear to roll into the log entrance. The log is on the ground now, but back then it was in the air above my height-to-skinniness tolerance threshold. I recall watching my buddies roll down the log no problem, but I could not let go of the brakes and let it roll. There was lots of fun stuff on the trail I could do, but not that high skinny nor the fucking teeter totter that came right after.

I swear half (or more of) the whinging about buttpacks/fannybags/enduro satchels (at least those with h20 bladder carrying setups) is centered around the hose routing and dumb magnetic or other clips. Small binder clip and a zip tie. Solved. Put it WTF you want it, whatever the circumstances.

I’m pooped. And old janky trails aren’t my cup of tea. I’m a chicken.

Another beautiful day for a ride in southern Oregon. I managed to grab the KOM on one of the longer/rougher sustained descents in the valley after sitting in second for 5-6 years so that’s nice.
