Lots of riding w/ the little one this year. Enjoying that. Today we went to look for trains again. Only saw one.

We did come across a very heated argument between a woman and and older man. She was in her underwear running out of the condo. The guy was getting the car towed onto a flatbed. I heard, "you're such an a-hole... why are you doing this to me... I just want my car back... it's not your car, it's mine... leave me alone... I've called the cops... I've called the cops too" Lots of pushing, shoving, yelling, backing up while the car was hooked to the winch. Dang.

Looks a lot better without the tape on it, although I think I was getting a bit of heel/calf rub on the top section. Holding up fine though. The white stuff above the pedal is the frame-saver that I had to obviously peel away from the entire seatstay and adjacent structures.

Hannegan Peak. There is a fire lookout nearby on copper ridge, which I believe is still manned. Or at least the last time I passed through 15 or so years ago.

Quick ride on teh lift today.

There was a guy there with a home made e-bike. It was pretty cool, actually. It was pedal assisted and also had a throttle mode. Dude zipped up the hill a few times when the line was long.

Looked like a hodge podge between a GT Fury and a Intense M9. It's an ebike so boooo, but looked well crafted and props to him. He said he uses it for commuting mostly, but put a Fox 40 on it for some DH.
