If I still had the Z1 on I wouldn't take many photos because it made me so angry looking at it.

People that giggle at my pink bike seem to be women and dudes in Lycra.
The paint is starting to blister and it is faded to shit on the RHS so it will have to go off for a new shade of pink soon.

My gears decided to be a dickhead today and got stuck in 7th so it was a ride/walk.

Smooth Barked Apple, I love these things but they get too big to plant in the local creek.

I rode. Snowshoeing one of our advanced trail a few days ago paid off.

Jozz, are those public trails, or locals-only? They look sweet and seem like they'd be worth a trip from Ottawa-Gatineau. We have great trails here, but a little variety sure would be nice...

I got out for a sk8 ski with my son today. Second time out, and double the distance From last time. The snow was fast and light. There just needs to be more of it. Managed to fall on my ass, but it didn't trouble my back... This is good news. No extra pain tonight, so I think that's progress. Sk8 skiing was always hard, but I can really feel a 5 month hiatus right in my fitness. Ooof.

Was hoping to ride more but I have ridden eight out of the last ten days, so I guess that is okay, and I really enjoyed my ride today, did the ride to/from and about 6km of pretty up down singletrack.
My legs are getting bigger which is my most hated thing about bike riding, I always tear the gooch out of my work shorts when climbing on equipment, hasn't happened once after I stopped riding.

There's probably close to 20km of singletrack like this then some more open stuff with a bit more character.

Sometimes I find it hard to track where people live but that is the most Australian thing I have ever heard.
Haha, yeah that's a requirement for me applying for a job, if I can't wear shorts all year round I'm not applying.
Sometimes I wonder what customers think, as, at times I look borderline homeless.
Work did chat me once about my appearance and I think my reply was something like "Hahaha, good luck with that" so they bought me more clothes.
I don't like to set people's expectations too high.

Last one for the holidays and had my first ride with anyone for about a year, managed 21km of singletrack but I was pretty stuffed at the end.

I'd like to say I washed it, but that would be a lie.

Training ride out to the Susitna River, had someone to ride with and met a few other riders out there. Not many snowmachines and the trails were pretty scraped.

Homeward. Thank you Pulaski NY for the quick turnaround covid tests. Visibility in the snow belt was < 100m. Blue skies beyond.

First winter nightride in about 3-4 years. It was a blast! Guided my friends down a few of our steep chute trails.
