Glad I’m not the only one not loving jumping gaps. I have been practicing on a smaller double but I can roll them if I need to which happens as approach has loose pebbles. I didn’t even dare that not long ago so it has been good mental practice and good practice to improve my jumping.

More riding today in between rain (finally)

This is the jump I’m working on. I have not hit the transition smoothly yet. The berm behind gives plenty speed but loose at the berm exit:

It’s easy to end up landing too much to the right the way the take off is setup.

Front Range, dude...
Play train kept rolling by Aerosmith? Ride a wheelie to the end of the block on the empty straight level street. On your own bike.
Come on, gimme something difficult...Midnight Train maybe, accompany myself on harmonica and bass drum whilst wheelying a flaming one wheeled bike through a cactus patch perhaps...

Not a big fan of this trail segment, its 19 miles one way and just too damn straight and not enough vert for the distance...so on the "downhill" back you end up pedaling your ass off, save for a few actually-fun sections.

Something in the 'air' yesterday? Damn, just below the pad. It was cold and I opted for knickers; I was kicking around the idea of shorts and knee pads for the descent. Kinda feel like a dummy. I wasn't in the air, just a slow speed front wheel washout.
