I'm thinking that one too. Could you tell where to get the linkage kit ??i am going to buy a new linkage kit for my 06 sunday but im not sure if i have to buy any additional hardware for it to fit my dhx i have.
Thanks Udi (and Sov) just on the above, do I leave the bearings in there to 'set' with the loctite for 24-48?be generous with the stuff, and make sure after you've put the frame together you leave it to cure for 24-48 hours without touching it.
After that it's good for years.
Haha, I'm guessing you're an Aussie with the Bunnings comment... They might have it, but I know that CBC Bearings will have it for sure. 609 is available in 10mL bottles but 680 is only available in bigger bottles and is super expensive. 609 should do the job though. Thanks Udi (and Sov) just on the above, do I leave the bearings in there to 'set' with the loctite for 24-48?
oh and is this Bunnings stock or specialist gear?
Is there something wrong with your linkage's or are you just looking to upgrade? Replacement links run $100 and can be ordered directly through us, 1-800-645-5477 option 3. 08 Linkage upgrade kits are currently out of stock. We ran out of upper links and are putting in an order for more. When they are back in stock they run $275 and that includes upper and lower links, pivot axles, bearings, bolts, washers, and 10mm shock pins.Ok, so I have a question. I just picked up a 2006 WC and I was wondering if the linkages will need to be replaced and what I will need to get in order to replace them as I have heard this is a common problem. If someone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I haven't received the bike yet so I have yet to really get a change to look at it. I am going to most likely just order a spare set as I hear the 2006 linkage design commonly sucked. Anyways I will keep the number iclose and give you a call in a bit. Any idea when the stock will come in?Is there something wrong with your linkage's or are you just looking to upgrade? I mentioned this a page ago when the topic of the F7 linkages being out of stock came up...I haven't received the bike yet so I have yet to really get a change to look at it. Dunno what the hell you've been smoking... :huh:HI
Well Today's bikes are really unique feature and issues of Road bikes. I have some really nice pictures of Road bikes, everyone who sees this obviously want to buy it. I've got to search for that picture I took of my bike.
This is very good forum for bike lovers.
Thanks

I've seen it done, and the riders (who are racers) seemed to like it.I don't care bout that "butter" fell like a regular spring, but i do care bout weight tho... Is this air shock good on a Sunday?
I had a team mate that had a dent similar to yours. He kept riding the frame. I don't think there's anything you can do for it. Probably not a warranty issue, either. Since it seems to be the fault of the rider, not the frame or manufacturing issue. If IH says you can still ride it, go for it.I dented the down tube on my 07 Sunday last weekend. Does anyone have experience riding dented frames? Or know how much a new front triangle costs? Any info or experience would be apprieciated.

Always a good thing to do! Strip down all bolts and get some white grease on them.Question: should I be putting any kind of lube on the bearings/pivots of my sunday?
i thought I should try here first (long shot though...):
Do you know where I can find a rear triangle for my Sunday? Scratched, dented (not badly), painted , not painted, etc. BUT in good working condition...tried at IH, but they're currently OOS.
Maybe you have or know a friend of a friend that has one and doesn't use it...i would like to buy it.
Thanks
it should fit, because it comes with a special lower link. Will a Bos Stoy fit in a 2008 sunday?
guess I found it, is possible.

Whoever you spoke with must not of understood what you were refering to. Did you refrence the Sunday frame diagram, http://www.ironhorsebikes.com/bikes/sunday/sunday_frame.pdf? We do have the axles and the pinch bolts in stock. The axles run $19.99 and the pinch bolt setup, which includes both bolts and the piece they thread into, run $4.99.Ok, so I just got a used 06' WC from this guy who didn't know the value of this bike. I am doing a few overhauls to make sure this bike lasts me a while, but I wanted to see a few things.
In shipping the rear axle bolt was lost: I have called IH numerous time and no dice with getting them, does anyone know where I would be able to get this part besides IH?
I don't know the whole story about the linkage, but what was the deal with the 06' linkage? I have heard that they are bad, but I want to make sure of this before I go drop dough on buying a new one.
I usually end up just contacting the shock dealer and ordering it directly through them. I have a set of the DHX bushings coming to me as we speak.Hey guys, my lower shock bushing has got play in it, only slightly when the bike is lifted but still very annoying as I like my bike perfect.. was wondering where the best place to get new ones in the UK is going to be? Many thanks, oh and its an 06 W/C.
