You could argue that a similar phenomenon took place when Boston won the series in '04. Can't tell you how many people I knew that were suddenly a die hard Sox fan after that.
whatever, we have a game to win tonight.
Should be interesting with Youk on the bench and a dude with a bad knee playing first.

Even if Colorado manages to knock Dice-K around, they still have to quiet down the Red Sox offense for a second straight game. Good luck with that in Coors.

The game sucks. Not cuz we're losing, but those guys had an amazing run, but they're clearly not enjoying the WORLD SERIES. I know there's no way to enjoy losing, just sayin'...

I've been rooting for Rockies just for Opie. I have now been in company with a cute blonde chick and called "clown" by her. I am not a Boston fan. Sorry Steve.
It still was a great game, but I think the Sox are going to sweep. They are damn good.
Caroline is nearly two. The "cute blonde chick" is really likely 23 or so. I was also nearly accosted by an Aggie fan, but diverted that by telling him he was a giant homo. Sports fans and drunks apparently don't mix.
Yeah. I was also one of three people in costume. I was a rodeo clown and this chick was calling me clown. I called her hooker a few times and we found common ground.
