I always notice that when I drive nearby, have always wanted to look at it.22 miles of the Northern rail trail with wife in NH.
No, but I want to. That looks pretty tasty.

this is the perfect loop for me at the moment: a little over 3.5km and not much elevation. I was very tired at the end - since my surgeon told me I could ditch the corset, my back get really achy and tired, but it seems to be going in the right direction.
Lots of bikers on the loop too. I go here a lot in the spring since it's the first place to clear of snow. I just wish it was a little bit longer...
Could you please tell what the name of that peak in the background? Excellent photos by the way... Jimgot up to wilsons yesterday. still not a ton of color, surprisingly. @AngryMetalsmith @SuboptimusPrime @jackalope last pic is of the soon-to-be-opened new end of yancey. nothing like the old end, unfortunately. new work out there tends to be "sustainable" and thus contour rather than ridgeline. fun, i guess, but it all feels the same. fortunately there's enough out there still un-fucked with.

Close. A few KMs as the crow flies. Carp Barrens. It's flat, and a really short loop at less than 3.5 km. But it's pretty technical, and all on shield. It drains well and tends to melt off first. A couple of laps in each direction makes it a worthwhile destination.South March Highlands?
Any good? Always wondered if it was worth the drive for us.Walker Ranch, from the west lot, clockwise.
I think it is. Rolling terrain, dirt, bunch of rock sections. One horrible set of stairs up out of the creek, unrideable either direction. We parked on the west side (Crescent Meadows lot) and went clockwise from there.Any good? Always wondered if it was worth the drive for us.
You ridden lefthand?
Careful, there is a drop a coming.
Yep YepppppIt's that time of year, iddnt it...
