is that an Ecler HAK360 mixer? don't see those too often.. nice mixer though. i used to sell/work on a lot of those a while back, i worked for the US distributor of them for a while.
as far as the decks go, replace the pitch fader, the RCA's and keep the look as close to stock as possible...
I dont know if they've fixed it (probably have), but RS was having issues with the "u-turn" revelations back in 2009 and 2010. I went with a 2010 revelation 'team' 150mm with 20mm QR on my Blur LT and i love it.
even if they fixed the issues with them, i'd still say stick with the non travel...
i'd agree with everyone else here, i got lasik done 10 years ago, one of the best things i've ever done. you're worrying too much about the 'flap', i get slight halos around lights at night, but nothing too bad. i'd do it again without hesitation.
+1.
veloce velo is a great shop, and they have a good selection, and decent demo rates ($50 or so). just make sure to reserve them in advance. they tend to go quick
buses aren't an issue for bikes, they all have racks on the front, and they'll all fit your average AM/FR bike. maybe not if you rock 3.0" wide tires but, well.. any normal 2.5" or less will fit.
i dunno about your hotel shuttle, it might not have a bike rack, but it's worth asking. and...
revelation team = 'blackbox motion control' and 'dual flow rebound'
revelation race = 'motion control'
good luck finding the real-world differences between those.

they will rape you a new asshole for asking a question like this. notice the subtitle of the page is 'extreme rock crawling'. it's like comign on here and asking 'what can i do to make my huffy pedel better on the local fire road???!!!"
try going to...
now.. i'm a relative newbie when it comes to this stuff.. but wouldn't it be the same thing if you just increased your sag by about .25" ??
basically effectively lowering the bike, increasing the HA, and keeping the same shock.
i'm not sure if this would work, you'd probably have to go...

I've probably got more money into my tools than i do into my bike. 2 almost full sets of tools for both my garage and in my truck (when i go off-roading), You name it, I've got it. air tools, grinders, welders, sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers.. Except for those funky bike part specific tools...
