I wasn't on the ride, so I don't know. Would have been about 8am i think. Were you a witness?
no, i was more commenting on the term 'pitch pole', coupled w/ the type of denizen that part of the Fells is known for. :D

i'm still getting it back up to speed with updating galleries and regenerating subject pages, but tjclark.ath.cx is pretty much back on its feet. now with 100% less hard drive failure! (had two disks die in a year)

Some of you may remember my desire to make a winter bike with a ski in the front and a big ass wheel on the back (Lately I've been thinking a Pugsley frame might be the way to go). Looks like someone's gone and beat me to it  , though I hadn't thought to tread it:

I have to say I think the tread looks too narrow to get much float

EDIT: they say it's 4", which is pretty damn wide

boston (cambridge, not the depressing suburbs):
- decent xc riding really close by
if by 'really close by' you are excluding these 'depressing suburbs', i'd say your riding options are limited to the Fells and maybe belmont.

good riding, but there's plenty of better stuff in the dolorburbs. :D

also, nice adder w/ the pics.
